Best of the Wurst Wine Trail August 18th and 19th

This is definitely the BEST of the WURST! Five southwest Wisconsin wineries will put the state’s finest bratwurst, salami and sausages to the taste test.

The grills will be hot, the mustard will be spicy and the wine pairings will make you change your mind about beer and brats forever. You’ll want to serve Wisconsin wine every time you heat up the grill!

At Whispering Bluffs, we’ll be pairing our fine Wisconsin wines with meats from Okeys Market in Cassville, Wisconsin and Rackows Family Sausage in Juda, Wisconsin.

Rumor has it that Elvis will be in the house! Elvis Presley grew up with sausage, but he developed a taste for bratwurst when was in Germany with the U.S. Army in the late 1950s.

The event runs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on both days. A bracelet is required for admission into all 5 participating wineries and may be used on either or both days.  The cost is only $17 and also gets you a souvenir tasting glass as well! Your bracelet may be purchased at the first winery that you visit. You must be 21 to purchase the bracelet.
